Dual booting
Is there a site that can give basic directions on how to do this operation? I working with 500 GB of space, so no prob there. But I wanna run both XP. So what are the steps, or is there a tutorial? I already have x64 installed and loving it. I just needed XP h.e. for visitors. Also, with dual booting, can I access files from one mode in the other mode? (example: I made a movie in x64, can I open that movie in x32?) |

I'm not sure I see the need for running visitors on 32 bit version ? Why not just set up a separate visitor account in 64 bit?

The "guests" are going to be using programs that aren't working on my 64bit version. They're math and typing programs for kids.
I've seen places that state that I can have both OSs on my PC. I just wanna know how to do so. |

You have a large drive - but does it have a spare partition on it for the second OS?
Normally, you'd install the oldest OS first...Need to get a second opinion if you can install 32 bit after 64..... How to Multiple Boot Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, and MS-DOS

Okay, yep, I found it here: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1910
I have to go from older to newer. That bites. Think I still might do it. |
