AVi files crash explorer
Anyone know if there is some kind of "fix" or something that I can download that will stop my explorer from crashing anytime it opens a folder that contains a ".AVI" file in it?
Its pretty annoying...if its on thumbnail view then as soon as i open the containing folder it will crash and a dr watson message pops up then after maybe 15 or 20 seconds my desktop will come back up. If the view is on list or details, anything other than thumbnail, then i can open the folder itself but if i click the file, (just once, just so i can select it and not open it) it will crash then too. ANyone know how to fix this?. (Oh yeah, i run XP pro with SP2) |
