Error message internet explorer

Sorry wasn't sure where to put this guys
Running XP pro
When I browse with IE I keep getting an error message saying I.E. has encountered a problem needs to close.
it started on a couple of pages now its on all - how do I fix this

Try deleting temp internet files.

Make sure your OS is up to date.

And just try restartig the computer.

Firstly what version on IE are you running? I find that IE6 seems to crash quite alot. I would recommend upgrading your Internet Explorer to the latest version. To do this open up IE (assuming it doesnt crash on you) and go Tools > Windows Updates - from there it should give you the option of upgrading to the latest version of IE7.

Alternatively you can visit here - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow.../getitnow.mspx and manually download it.
