CRASH PC keeps rebooting itself

Hi all ,

My machine suddenly decides randomly to reboot itself, this usually happens during gaming so I suspected a faulty Graphics Card.

However it has now decided to happen when I am just generally using my PC, I have been looking through the Event Log and the attached screenshot is all I can find. Does anyone know this error and if it is related.

Any assistance would be great seeing as its is very annoying.

Thanks for that Alaron, however this seems to relate to Windows 2000 - I have updated all my drivers, scanned my hard drive for errors and fingers crossed it hasnt rebooted yet. However I am not 100% confident.

Any other suggestions would be great.

Control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery - uncheck restart on error. Next time it will bluescreen instead of rebooting and you will have more clues.

Nice tip glc - thanks.

Do you suggest keeping the Memory dump the same?

It is currently "Small memory dump 64kb"

Update drivers, and see if you have a camera or scanner or any bluetooth device plugged in.

No scanner/camera's e.t.c

I will try and disable the Indexing Service as well - just as a note.

Thanks for the links.

Stop error: 0x000000c5

Right now I get another stop error.

0x000000c5

This is almost certainly a driver issue according to Microsoft - I have the run the Driver Verifier and there seems to be a bad driver, I will update all of my drivers and see if this helps.

Any other suggestions would be great.

If you have a logitech mouse, I would uninstall their driver first. Seems like they could be the culprit.
