Possible software conflict with Norton 360

I've got a customer (or acqaintenance I should say) who purchased Norton 360 and shortly thereafter, bought Trend Micro's Antispyware program (v3.0). She's complaining that the system doesn't shut down properly and gets some vague error messages about memory. I told her to write down the exact error message next time rather than trying to recite it. (Her vague description wasn't very helpful ).

Does anyone know if there is any known software conflict issues with Norton 360 & Trend Micro's Antispyware v3.0? The latter is not exactly an anti-virus program so it shouldn't pose a problem however I have a vague recollection about this antispyware package mucking up the works if Norton is also installed. I can't remember where I read it and nothing on Symantec's knowledge base turns up in my searches.

Anyone have direct experience w/ these two software packages?

I think I'd get rid of Norton first.
