new hard drive
I installed a new hard drive on my wife's laptop computer. After installing the O/S, I can open up windows fine, but nothing is under control panel. Am I missing a start up disk? She gave me everything she had.

What OS did you install? When you say nothing is in Control Panel, do you still have the option to open it? There are just no icons in the CP window?
