Is there a way to disable the clicking sound in XP?
Hey,
Lately I've been getting annoyed with that "click" sound when you click on something (ie. folder, back, foward etc). Is there a way to disable the sound other than turning off my speakers? |

Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices - Sounds - under Program Events scroll down to Windows Explorer, the clicking sound is called Start Navigation. Change the sound to None.

Thanks! I knew it was in there, just didn't know where it was under.

I'm having problems with this as well, I choose 'none', hit apply and ok, but the sound is still there. What gives?
