Add and remove programs

Hi Gang

I have wondered this for some time. In my add and remove program list there are several programs in there that does not give you the choice of removing them. Over in the size area there is nothing there. Sould I be concerned about these or pay no attention to them. I am kind of a nut when it comes to things that don't give you a choice of removing or not.

Thanx and take care.......Gunny

You shouldn't worry about them.

What kind of programs are they?

Probably nothing to worry about. But if you want them gone,

try CCleaner to clean out the registry and check to see if its still there.

If it is, try regseeker or smart uninstaller. All freewares. Let me know how it goes. Or just leave it be as it probably is no harm to your computer.

Add and Remove

Hi Dave

I have run the CCleaner several times, and it does not remove them. Some of them seem to be add ons to the main program, like I have roxio 9 and its main program in there and has its size but there are several roxio things that are there but not any size, or remove options. I have more then I thought there are at least 20 or more of what I am talking about.

I have not tried the others you mentioned. i think you are right, I don't seem to have any problems right now and they have been this way for some time.

Thanx........Gunny

If you ran ccleaner and its still there then chances are, other programs are still utilizing them like you've mentioned (add-ons). So you should just leave things the way they are, even though it may annoy you
