CRC Errors?
Anyone ever get crc errors in windows when trying to install a program off of a cd?
I have only gotten it from trying to install a cd but I was wondering what would cause it. I rebooted my system and then the cd installed fine. Also, I D/L RegCure and it said I had 614 errors, but wanted me to pay to fix them... I didn't pay because qite frankly I don't know what the cause of the problem could be... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i love freeware that really works. so if this is somehting I should be concerned about please let me know ASAP! Mike |

You get CRC errors from CDs if they are damaged and your CD player can't read the data correctly. Sometime popping out the CD and putting it back in will get rid of the errors.
As to your 2nd q, I would suggest using Crap Cleaner http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/, free and does a good job of cleaning your registry. |
