Virtual Network
Hey,
So, basically, as it stands, I'm using some software called "vmware" (virtual environment software) that's currently running Apache, and some linux based software which is all running fine and has an internet connection. As the structure of the network stands it goes: Internet > Router > Physical Network > Virtual Network. My router can't seem to redirect any traffic (inboud) to this virtual network's IP address and the host (main) OS is Windows XP. I was wondering if there was any software within XP that would allow all traffic on lets say port (inboud) to be redirected to this virtual IP address? Such as a connection manager? or if there's actually a better way of doing this without making Linux the main OS. Thanks in advanced, WinSrev |
