Odd startup problem - mouse going haywire!

I just built this PC. It is for recording music - so there's no internet at all, or games. Only music software, some music, and word documents. It's been a really good reliable machine so far up until today.

I turn on the machine, and everything opened up on its own - windows messenger, microsoft outlook, word, etc. I closed it all, and then they all reopened right away. I restarted. This time the programs didn't all open. I then go to open one of my music software programs. It opens, I click on "File", and I have to hold down the mouse button, or else it will close the "File" tab. I click on what I want, which is to record a new track with my guitar. Then it starts recording on its own. I push the stop button - it doesn't stop. I close the program, and it automatically restarts the program again.

I don't have internet, so it's pretty impossible for me to have spyware or a virus, but if I have to, I will install my PC-cillan software on it and check.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

What are the complete system specs for this computer? Please list all the parts by brand and model including the power supply.

Also list all the software installed on the computer including the exact operating system in use.

That's it. No games, no internet, because it's only being used for Word and recording music. No illegal software either, so there can't be any viruses or spyware. Before I transfered files from my Home computer to this computer I virus and spyware scanned them anyways.

Helppppp.

LOL!
Sometimes the simplest solutions are easily overlooked.

On my main box, I chased around, for 2 years, sluggish behavior, compared to other comparable boxes, that I worked on.

I have two keyboards hooked up, and one day the cheap generic keyboard went bad, so I replaced it, and, Walla, it ran like the speedster I was expecting.
