Forgive me if I am not understanding the prob exactly but what is the actual bluetooth device that you are trying to connect to? I thought the usb/bluetooth adapter gives you bluetooth capability on the pc when you plug it in, but isn't there still an actual bluetooth device that you are trying to use that adapter to connect your PC with?

To answer your question its a mobile phone but then i don't even get that far, as soon as i open the My Bluetooth Places folder i get the script error and can do nothing untill i close the window.BUT if i randomly choose an item and send it from a right click (like a music track) the adapter runs without a hitch. .

Sorry, I'm not ignoring you, Stigslim. I have not personally worked with that particular device you are having problems with so i don't have any great advice except to uninstall the device, reboot, then reinstall it.
