RAID question

For XP, can you load the RAID drivers directly from the CD that came with the mobo directly to the memory or do you need to transfer the drivers to a floppy first and then to memory? I was reading that in Vista you can copy the RAID drivers directly so I was wondering if you can do the same in XP. My computer is not recognizing my new floppy drive, that is why I ask. In the POST it says "Floppy disk(s) fail (40)"

The F6 key during setup?

Yeah, requires a floppy. I tried a USB floppy on a build recently, but it didn't seem to work. I'm guessing since the drive was recognized as "B" not "A". Either way, I ended up plugging in a floppy drive temporarily.

Check your floppy cable for correct pin orientation and correct end on the drive.
