I started recieving this error when Nvidia released a new driver for my 6800GT I started with the original boxed driver but then installed this force ware. However it seems to have done more harm than good.
I am starting to get this error pop up nearly every time I boot up, restart. Its ridiculous. Wondered if you guys had any suggestions/fixes? Thanks for your time. Rob.

If it started after you updated the driver, then I would uninstall that driver, and install an older version.
See if you can write down the stop code next time you get the bsod.

I restarted in Safe Mode un-installed the graphics driver, not the Ethernet or pci express driver just the display driver for the nVidia driver and installed the original display driver I got with the gfx card.
It didn't do it for about a week however just yesterday it did it again for the first time in a while. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. The Stop code I am getting is: Stop: 0x0000000 (0x0000000A, 0x00000004, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804FAE91) I have no idea what all this means so maybe you could help me to come to a resolution to my problem. |

Only the first KB doc apply's but its not very specific about what I should do to get rid of this problems, from what I can see it seems there's a million and one of possible solutions that would take me days to get something out of.

I would probably disconnect everything that wasn't needed to run the computer. That means all peripherals, and extra hd and cd drives.
From there I would uninstall all drivers, and then reinstall new ones. See how that runs. If it does good, then add one peripheral back at a time. Other then that, I'm out of ideas. |
