Computer is very slow
My friend has a computer which has windows xp with sp2 and it has 128MB RAM and he uses some heavy applications and softwares on his computer and his computer becomes very slow.
Yesterday, I ran defragmenter on his computer and after that his computers performance improved. But today he says that his computer is still slow, now do you think that the only issue is the memory? Should I increase the RAM of his computer from 128MB to 512MB? Any suggestion or help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Definately increase their memory. 512 would be the absolute minimum. I would see about 1gb if possible.
Might want to also run some virus and malware scans to, and see if they find anything. Run ccleaner and let it get rid of some temp files.
