XP installation continuous loop

I am trying to install XP Pro w/SP2. The installation goes fine where I load the RAID drivers and then create and determine on which partition I want to put the OS. More files load and then the computer says that it is going to reboot..which it then does. I do remove the floppy at this point as the instructions say. The problem is at this point the computer goes back to the very beginning of the installation procedure where it says "Windows is inspecting your hardware".

I have successfully loaded XP earlier using the same OS CD on the same hardware...so it puzzles me as to what may have changed that prevents me from doing this now.

How do I stop the installation from going back the the very beginning of the installation...effectively repeating itself?

I have created three partitions intended for Windows XP Pro 32, Vista 32 Home Premium and Vista 64 Home Premium on two, 1 terrabyte drives using RAID 1, (mirroring). The rest of the computer specs are listed in my signature.

During the reboot process, if you see a prompt to "press any ket to boot off cd" Don't press any key.Just let it do its thing.
