Boom XP Rebooting For No Reason How Do I Fault Find Please?

My desktop PC has developed a slightly annoying fault. The PC is running XP Proffesional, Gigabyte 939 Mobo, Athlon 64 X2 4400 CPU, 2 x 512MB PC3200, 7800GT GFX, Thermaltake 430W PSU. Sometimes the PC for no reason will just go to a blue screen for a fraction of a second with an explanation on it (not that I have a clue what it means), the problem is that this happens so fast that I do not have chance to read the message as the PC re-boots itself. It then displays that message about Windows recovering from a serious fault or something and reporting the fault to Microsoft, I never bother looking at the report for this as I am not sure if it has anything in it? I probably should next time. I am not sure if this is a heat issue, but the CPU and GFX temps appear to be very low. Obviously the problem is finding the fault as it normally does not do it that often, but last night it was happening every 5 minutes. Is there any software that might help find the cause of the problem, as the PC shutting down and not giving me chance to read the info on the blue screen is a major issue. Any help please?

Is your pc randomly rebooting itself? You can go to

Control Panel->System icon->Advance tab->Startup & Recovery Settings button. UNcheck/disable the "auto reboot" option. Instead of rebooting you'll probably get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) which can be searched on for a solution.

You can go to http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 to search on for example: STOP 0x00000050
