not a problem , just a pain i think. have recently bought a pc from a college that has closed down. i have managed to bypass the passwords for loging in and can get into the system. it is running xp pro but login is sumthing diff for me.
at first load up it asks for ctrl/alt/del, then states that it is belonging to the college then asks for a user and password. as i have cleared this thats ok but also asks for me to logon to one of two different places. either ADMIM or Keyskills-04. Now if i try to logon to ADMIN it doesnt work so i assume this is the college server and i am allowed to logon to the other. like i say not a problem but....... how do i get rid of this login stuff? do i reload the os or is there another way to get rid of this inconvenience and make sure i am logging in as administrator etc? any help is appreciated jay |

Best thing to do would be to format and reinstall windows. That will give you a nice clean install for you to set up how you want with no login in problems.

you can try this to see if it should work.. Run-> control userpasswords2 then enter, go to Advanced Tab-> uncheck "required users to Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
