Messenger crash on Call.

My friend has an annoying problem where when he answeres a call or someone answeres his Windows Live Mesenger will give the "Has encountered a problem and needs to close" error. He has tried reinstalls and different versions and it still crashes any ideas?

I googled: "Live Messenger and Has encountered a problem"

There can be serveral reasons for Messenger to crash, first of all, make sure to always use the latest version and only download it from the official website. If you already have the latest version installed, try reparing the installation. Click Start, go to the Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs and find Windows Live Messenger in the list. Now highlight Windows Live Messenger and click the Change button, it will give you two options: Repair or Remove, click Repair to 'Install missing files or repair damaged files and data'.

Crashes can also be caused by plugins or addons, especially if they are not compatible with the version of Messenger you use. Remove any of those, for support contact the respective creator.
