hello guys, I have a problem with my system.
I was updating the Internet explorer and when the system did the restart did not accept my password. I am sure that I have the right password, I did nothing to change password or relating to cause this, now I can't log in. my specs. are: windos xp home sp2 160 hd 1gb ram liteon dvd drive x2 xfx6600gt envidia video card. any Idea what I can do to resolve this problem?. thank you in advance.

Boot it in safe mode and use the Administrator account. If you didn't put a password on it, it will go right in. Then you can fix the password on your user account.

that's the problem, that I only have a admistraror account on it. |

If it's XP Home, it has a user account with administrative privileges. The Administrator account is hidden. You have to use Safe Mode in order for the Administrator account to appear on the welcome screen. If you cannot get into either account in safe mode, we can't advise you any farther due to security issues.
