hello you all. ok It's posible that if I make a hd image, and I am using it at some point can my key be block it?.
so I can't run my image as a only drive, because it was on aother drive when I register my windows or it's not matter what hd I hd when I rgister my windpws?. any comments please. thank you.

Ok, If am using a image of my original hd. wich windows was registered, can my windows key be blocked by microsoft. |

If you try to use it in a second computer, you will have problems.

thanks for your response. ok, I want to use on the same system, so can I make a image and use it as a primary hd and the old as a slave, no problem at all?. |

I would not leave it connected as a slave.

You can do a fresh install of Windows and use your key only if you have removed that copy of Windows from the previous computer. It is one computer per license. Trying to use the same key on multiple systems is illegal.

You can use the same key, but you may have to activate it by telephone. You will have to explain that you just did a hard drive upgrade and you have reformatted the old drive.
