Cool USB Storage device-Ghost etc Help

Hello all, try and explain as best as possible.

I used to have in My Computer Drives A to say Z cannot remember.

Problem, i did not use these drives, never did, so a program i downloaded had another use, removing these amongst other things.

I have Norton Ghost 9, try to back-up cannot, as the Drive it used to back up to was G: which is still there, but, now, it says its a CD drive and not a storage device. Somehow without my changing G:, has moved to N: drive. Unfortunely it is one of the Drive letters which i removed, all from N to the end.

Tried re-installing Ghost and changing to G: drive, but recognises G:drive as being a CD drive, as well as H, I, J, K, L, M, as being not fixed or present.

I cannot get into my Portable hard drive to Ghost to or erase or whatever, is there a way i can save my image to D: drive (Which is O.K.) then somehow open my Portable Hard drive to copy to?????? Or get back my old Drive letters, or get my computer to recognise Grive as being there, changing it back to Removal Disk, instead of a CD drive, if you get my meaning.
I do not wish to Smart Restore etc, if that is the only way, then will leave as it is.

Unless there is a way to copy/Ghost C:drive to D:, or an online free storage.

Thanks, GEP

Thumbs up Re:Drive problem

Hello Mickzer, thanks, your post helped to lead me to a work-around.

I right-clicked on My Computer, Manage, Disk Management, right-clicked on N:which appeared once a placed the USB drive in, and choose Open.

I will now Ghost to D: and cut to N: via this route.

Thanks, GEP
