Windows XP Question
Hello everyone,
I hope you can help with this problem i am having. So about 1 year ago i bout a Toshiba laptop 1.63 Dual Core Intel Centrino, 512 MB Ram, 160 Gig hdd, Windows XP Media Center Edidition and ever sicne i have got this mashine is been fairly on the slow side lagging on the simplest tasks, so about 5 months ago i purchases a copy of XP pro and pulled hte drivers off the toshiba disk and everything was fine and i never had a problem with lagging or speed. But now i recentlyhad to reformat adn lost the XP pro key and am back to the toshiba recovery disk and back to severe lagging. Can anyone help with this problem? On a fresh install its lags even never connected to the interent, all unnessary programs are deleted. Task manager system idle process bounces between 95 and 99% which is good. I have no IRQ conflicts i really have no idea whats going on. If anyone could help that would be much appreciated. Thanks. |
