Zap A Corrupted Shortcut Key?
I'm using Windows XP, SP2.
In the Properties dialog, Shortcut tab, for an application shortcut I assigned Shortcut Key "Shift + Alt + X". Some time ago something associated with the shortcut key got corrupted and the key combination no longer works. I get an error saying that the system can't find a needed DLL. Since then I've assigned a different shortcut key to the applications and things have been working fine. But I want to free up "Shift + Alt + X", as it's bugging me. I'm sure there is a registry entry that records these shortcut keys. Does anyone know where, and if it's OK to zap the offending entry? Thanks, - Dave |
