missing file ?

My panasonic cf48 laptop will not boot. It says that Win 2000 could not start because file
system32\ntokrnl.exe is missing. Please reinstall a copy of this file.
I don't have a win2000 disk and if I can find the find, how can I install it if I can't boot-up. Thanks

You will have to reinstall Win2000, a repair reinstall will probably do. You have to boot with a Win2000 CD.
