Well, where to start... let's see,
Whenever I boot up my computer XP seems to reset all of my settings. The desktop is returned to the default picture, my icons are deleted, and my quicklaunch icons no longer exist. It also asks me if I'd like to take a tour of Windows, like its the first time I'm booting up. All of my programs still work normally, but they all run like fresh installs, asking me if I'd like tours of the program and forgetting my settings. For example: Firefox forgets all of my bookmarks and homepage. It's really quite annoying, and any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

When did this start happening? Was it okay before? Try running a system restore.
