PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, can't get windows to boot

Earlier today, I used the Asus AI booster program to turn on the factory overclock settings on my computer. When I restarted, my video drivers were gone. I reinstalled them, and then after that restart, the graphics were normal for a split second before I got a bsod. I went into the BIOS settings and returned them to their defaults.

Now, every time I try to start my comptuer, it fails. Windows will start to load up, I can get to the screen where I choose to boot in safe mode, last known good, or start normally. No matter what setting I choose, it starts to load up but then crashes and repeats the process.

I was going to try a repair or a reformat with my XP Home CDs, but that doesn't work either. It will let me choose whether I want to repair or install, but before it even gets to where I'd choose an installation to work with I get PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA bsod.

"The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ntfs.sys

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

Later in the bsod it says:

"Stop: 0x00000050 (0xE11E1000,0x000000000,0xF70C4D29,0x000000001)

ntfs.sys - Address F70C4D29 base at F7073000, Datestamp 41107eea"

I'm willing to reformat if necessary, but I can't even do that. I'm not sure if this is a driver problem, or a hardware problem. I recently upgraded my video card and power supply, but they've been running fine for the last week.

Windows XP Home
Asus P5ND2-SLI
Intel P4 3.0GHz
4 gb DDR2
Nvidia 8800GT
Apevia 680watt PSU

Thanks,

Leafi

1. Use the clear cmos jumper to revert your bios to default settings.

2. Run ram diagnostics.
