Boom Win XP Search (non-classic view)

Hi
Quite awhile back, I changed my Win XP Search feature to the classic view. I want to put it back. However at my Start button, the "change preference" is no longer there to perform what I want to do.

I can live with classic search, but it has become a matter to principal to be able to change it back. I have looked everywhere to find out how, but it eludes me.

Got suggestions? Thank you

~Cissy

You can either use a reg hack or tweakUI

In tweakUI, go to "explorer" and about 3/4 of the way down on the list, uncheck "use classic search in explorer"

Thank you, Force Flow, for the response. I didn't get an email notification of your post or I would have responded.

Recently, I downloaded TweakU, but haven't installed it. I think I will and try your solution.
Thanks!

Thumbs up

That did it! I used TweakU1 and did as you directed. Thanks again, Flow
