I have checked everywhere on the www and no one seems to know what to do about the following problem. Every time I shut down my pc, the following popup message appears for only a few seconds and the shutdown proceeds as usual though slightly slower than before:
dwwin.exe - dll initialization failed : The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down. This problem just started all of a sudden and seemingly out of the blue. As I said I've checked around and this seems to be a common problem connected with dr. watson but nobody has the answer on how to correct it- even microsoft techs. Any suggestions? |

Are you using adobe acrobat reader?
http://www.anetforums.com/posts.aspx?ThreadIndex=61323 http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/windows....html#post6075 Have you scanned with anti-spyware and anti-virus programs? Try running www.ccleaner.com and letting it clean out your system. Also run the registry cleaner in it.
