Question XP Problem

Hi All,

Please help me with a valid solution.
Whenevr i try to open my C or D drive, or any drive, i receive a box that prompts me to choose which program i want to use to open it.
It might be a Windows XP problem because i found it on several pc's.
All of these pc is up to date with the latest security patches and i even tried to load XP Service Pack 3 and it did'nt help me in any way.
