very strange problem

Hi All,

I'm working on a Windows Media Center OS that it able to boot into windows and that's it.
It cannot run any programs (not even MSConfig.exe) cannot open Add/Remove Program..
Cannot run AV even in safemode.

Please helpppppppppp

I'd go at it a couple of ways - pull the drive and scan it in another computer for malware. If that doesn't help, put it back and try a repair reinstall if you have the customer's XP CD.
