Microsoft Outlook 2007 Export

Hi,

I'm due to change jobs today and I wanted to export my outlook contacts and emails and then import them into my new outlook in my new job.

How do I do it? I know the import/export bit but I dunno which type to use, shall I use .pst?

All the info is stored into the .pst file....I would copy the whole file and take it with me...Keeping in mind it'll probably Only work on another Office 2007 machine.

What search did you do?
What did you find?
Are you only exporting the contacts? are those contacts linked to msn/hotmail like the OutLook Express contact list?

The search was done here, and I searched "Exporting Outlook Contacts" should of done that before I started a thread to be honest.

I found 3 threads, not including my own! :/

Contacts and emails nothing else. Yeh they are emails of clients and work colleagues.

The reason I asked is because I no longer use OutLook or Outlook Express I stick to gmail, the problem is I get machines in for upgrades, format and reinstalls and you can guarantee if I am going to forget something, it is saving their contact lists..
