Try running an Office 2007 repair, you will need its original CD.

I did run the repair thing and it didnt work I tried to reinstall it hoping it would fix things but nothing seems to work, got any slick ideas? |

I did a google search and found someone who had the same problem and this is what he/she did
mrktr I had the same problem. Here's what worked for me: 1) Close Outlook 2007. 2) Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run..." to launch the Run dialog box. 3) Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and click "OK" to launch the registry editor. 4) Before you make any changes to your registry file, be sure to make a backup copy in case an edit leads to unforeseen problems. In the left-hand pane, select and highlight "My Computer." From the menu, select "File" and click on "Export..." Choose the location where you want to save your backup copy and specify a name for the backup file. Click "OK" to save. (Saving may take a minute as you're saving the entire registry.) 5) From the menu, select "Edit" and click on "Find..." to launch the search box for the registry editor. Type "olmapi32" (without the quotation marks) and click "Find Next." 6) The first entry your search should find should be in the following folder location: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Components\613B99D5CFD 7FCB4793B500086BB4113] (note that the last string of numbers may be different on your system). If that's not the first instance of "olmapi32" that the search finds, press the "F3" button on your keyboard to find the next entry for your search term. Do so until you find the search result for the location above. 7) In the right-hand pane, select and highlight the entry containing the term "olmapi32.dll" and press the "Delete" button on your keyboard. Click "Yes" when asked "Are you sure you want to delete this value?" to delete the entry. 8) Close the Registry Editor. 9) Launch Outlook 2007 without the "olmapi32.dll" problem. This worked for me, so I hope it does the trick for you as well! - K. |
