Need Help installing XP never had this problem b4

AMD Athalon Barton core 3000+
PC Chips Socket 462(A) MOBO
2 Gigs of 400ddr 184pin A Data ram 2 sticks at 1gb
80 Gig Jupiter HD 5200rpm non sata

This is my current config... yes i know oldschool but I dont see any reason to junk my Barton 3000+...

Everything in the scomp is BRAND NEW minus the VC and Processor but i checked it on my brothers comp and its fine...

Basically here is the problem...

XP Disc goes in... Boot from CD... Yes... Blue screen install window... press F2...THEN F6.... for Raid SCSI.... BLAH BLAH... Loads everything and gets to Setup Windows.... then Blacks out then the dreaded BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH COMES UP... WITH THE STOP Message...

Now here is the weird thing...

Before it just wouldnt even get to the install part at all... so i removed my Sound card and then magically it made it to the EULA and NTSF stuff... And installed 100% then tried to reboot itself and then just stuck to a black screen for over 30 mins then i shut it off.

So here is what i think i can do...
Take the Ram out which is brand new and put my old dual 512 sticks back in.
Check all connections..
The HD Is running master
The BIOS might not be in ACPI Aware O/S so maybe i need to enable that...
Turn off S.M.A.R.T in BIOS
Also maybe in XP Installer i need to F5 To choose a ACPI??
Maybe disconnect my DVD-RW drive

Any other possible solutions.???

BTW... I have tried 4 different XP CD's all of which are copies of the original OEM provided to the company i work for and they have worked before on my other machines... So yea all the same key as well...

1. If you are using one IDE hard drive, why are you pressing F6? You do not need a RAID or SCSI driver.
2. What is the exact STOP message?
3. If you are using an 80 wire Ultra ATA cable, the hard drive needs to be jumpered Cable Select, not Master.
4. If the hard drive has been previously used, you should zero fill it.
5. ACPI should be enabled in the bios, but there is no need to use F5.
6. SMART should be left enabled.
7. It would not hurt to disconnect all drives except the hard drive and the optical that you are using for the install.
