MS Fax Server/COV editor alternative
Our office has SBS 2003 on the server with XP workstations. We just configured MS Fax on the server, and it works alright other than being kind of limited. It started as a task to create a custom cover sheet, including our company header, but any inserted images (bmp) of the header get distorted and fonts don't stay as set, I assume due to supported types.
Does anyone know either: an alternate method to create .cov pages that can be more detailed than with the dinky little Cover Page Editor; or an MS Fax Server alternative that can be installed as a shared fax printer? I looked at a few and they either require clients on the workstation side, or cost $500. I'm looking for something free/cheap, and we like being able to print to fax from applications and not necessarily have to use a client (although it could be considered). Thanks BTW, I posted in this forum because it has to do with Windows Server, but if it needs to go in other software, just move it. |
