XP Delay On Boot Up
This just recently started happening. After the Windows XP splash screen upon boot up appears, it then disappears and a blank screen comes up. This blank screen will stay there for about 2 min. Then my PC goes about and logs on like normal. Anyone got any idea why there's a delay after the Windows XP splash screen? I haven't changed anything, haven't installed anything since the incident started occurring.

USB devices and or hooking the pc up to a network can cause this.

test your computer in safe mode.. find out out if the network is causing the issue. If not than see if some other startup driver is causing the problem. If so hault the driver. (if you need help with this let me know)
