I'm wondering if there is a way that i can combine my original XpPRo CD with the updates from SP1-SP3 and add in custom installs for programs, that i usually have installed on my basic computer for faster recoveries and what not. I see people making the illegitamate OS's online and was wondering if i could make one for my own use with my own software that would be legitamate with no malware-spyware-or-viruses. I've researched packages for creating installers, but with my knowledge all i know is that there are scripts and lines of code in which i'll have to learn. But is it fairly easy to do with some basic knowledge and time or is there a program which execute my tasks into one .cab file?

Why not use Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost and create a complete restore CD?

I've used these with varying degrees of success;
http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/ http://www.nliteos.com/ For personal use these are not illegal. Even M$ allow for slipstreaming. |
