Problem with Software and XP

I tried out Trendmicro Antivirus 2008 last night. The problem is that when I scanned it quarintined my explore.exe that runs windows. I have been unable to access windows to fix the problem. Do you have any ideas on what I can do?

I already tried going into safemode but that failed.

Did it show you which folder it found the file in? If so, which folder?

The following was posted today on another site I visit:

Anyway, I can't get in with any of the Safe Mode options, including last good config because of a BSOD and it's gone so fast I can't read it. I can't turn off the automatic reboot because I can't get in.

Any suggestions - boot disk 'R' option?

Thanks - rev
I would hang out at Trend's site looking for solutions..
