Power management INOP

Hello everyone-

I am running XP with service pack 3 and just recently my power settings are not working and it wont even turn on the screen saver. I did notice something interesting I am now missing the Energy star logo from the screen saver tab in my display properties.

The only thing I have changed lately is the use of a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. But it worked for several weeks with these items until just a couple of days ago.
