Security Center Error

I have no idea why this is happening. I have AVG anti virus installed which is recognizable by Windows Security Center and I also have ZoneAlarm Firewall. Suddenly Windows Security Center decides that it no longer recognizes these programs.

I've restarted the Security Center service and upon restarting the computer, Security Center reverts back to saying I don't have an anti virus and firewall installed. Does anyone have an idea to fix this?

You could try to reinstall avg and zone alarm. That should tell security center that you have something.

Personally, I just disable the security center alerts.

Did that already. It did nothing.

I did do that actually but, still leaves me with the question as to why it did it in the first place.
