Username / Password Problem
Hi,
I have Windows XP. My default browser is Firefox 3.0.1 When I enter my username and password on PC HELP and FACEBOOK, a sign appears: invalid username / password. However, when I go to these sites via my back up browser, Safari, and enter the same username and password, these are accepted. How do I fix Firefox to get these sites to accept my username and password? Thank you in anticipation of your help in this matter. |

Try this, at the top of the browser, select tools, options, security, saved passwords, show passwords and see if passwords are saved for those sites. If they are, delete them and try logging on again using FF.

clear your cache, cookies, and authenticated sessions under "tools" > "Clear private data"
