Check Disk? or Scan Disk? XP

[B][/Can someone please remind me on how to get Windows XP Home to do a "Check Disk" or "Scan Disk"? Whatever it's called? You know where it will fix problems it finds on the hard drive. I know I've done it before, but it's been a long time and I can't remember where to execute it.

I've looked in system tools, but couldn't find it there?

Thanks,

Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
Start>run>cmd. When the Command window opens, type: chkdsk /r. It will tell you your C: drive needs to be dismounted. Say "no". It will ask if you want to run Checkdisk on the next start of your pc. Say "yes" and reboot. Checkdisk will run and the /r tag will repair any errors found.
