SP3 interfering w/internet connection?

Seems like after I installed SP3 last week my internet has been cutting in and out periodically. Don't know if it's my ISP or the great work of Microsoft SP3. Anyone having this problem? (Using latest Firefox version.)

Is it your internet connection, or is it the browser that's cutting out?

Have you tried IE7?

Are you behind a router? Have you tried to reset it?

Browser and all applications that try to connect intermittently disconnect and connect. Could be Verizon, not sure. I'm not willing to download Verizon's huge support software just to ask them a simple question only to get a vague answer.

If you're behind a router, you could also try connecting directly to the modem.

Have you also tried to disable your security programs and firewalls to see if they might be causing problems?

Worst case scenario, you could try a system restore to before you installed sp3.
