is there any way to make

Windows XP boot-up faster apart from deleting start up programs.

Unplugging USB devices can help. Course then you spend time plugging em back in

Use a Windows 2000 machine for a while. Then you will think XP boots real fast.

You can try that. Tecnically, it's not supported anymore, but I just used it on my gaming rig and it seemed to operate fine. Can't say that it actually decreased boot time noticably, though
