I just reinstalled Xp Pro Sp2, and after downloading all 100 updates, they all failed to install. I tried this 3 times with no success.. The only thing installed is the mb drivers and video drivers, plus my drivers for my wirless n device. build in sig. Thanks

Download Dial-a-Fix from here:http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Dial-...C_and_articles
You can tick everything on page 1 and click Go. Then try your updates again. mickzer. |

Thanks, but tried it but that did not work either..
I also tried the updaterfix.bat, that I found on the net, and that did nothing as well. Hope I don't have to reinstall xp all over again.. Last edited by doubledragon5; 09-27-2008 at 03:17 PM. |

SP3 doesn't work on this machine, I have tried it more than once. I went to the MS support group besides trying the two mentioned above they suggested updat.bt also tried these http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943144
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ http://www.codeplex.com/aureset They didn't work as well. Finally a suggestion that was given did work. I had to install each up dates a little at a time. I started out with groups of 3, then went to 5, then finally 10 until they all installed.. Thanks for the help |
