Used to I could be on a website, copy the address from the address bar, and then paste it into the text of an e-mail and it would create a hyperlink.
Then if I sent the e-mail to someone, they could click on the hyperlink and it would take them to the website. Not any more. I can't get it to work in my browser Firefox nor in Internet Explorer. My OS is Windows XP Home. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Does it work if you send an email to yourself?
The receiving person might have their mail set to TEXT mode only which would kill hyperlinks.

Hyperlinks
What I mean is that neither one of my browsers will copy the address off any website I'm at. I can copy anything else except the web address.

After you do the copy part, can you paste the address into Notepad/MS Word/MS Paint or any other program?

My brother started this for me and got off a little. I can copy/paste okay, but the paste does not create a hyperlink. I've tried it in both Firefox and Internet Explorer, and with Live Hotmail and Yahoo mail. I can receive other people's hyperlinks, but cannot create one. It used to work and then just quit.
