Hi gang
I am using IE7 and I am using AT&T/Yahoo mail. Now when ever I want to reply like to a Craigslist ad, the numbered address they give use to pop up in my "to" box at my yahoo mail, all ready to reply too. Now it goes to my yahoo mail but nothing shows up in the "to" box. It stays blank. Any help appreciated. Thanx and take care.........Gunny...P.S. Found out why the instant reply to a post on here don't work, it is my yahoo mail for some reason. It gets sent but does never show up in my Yahoo mail. It just disappears, there must be a ton of them floating around out there. :-) It works with a lot of the other mail providers, Gmail, Outlook, etc.

You are preaching to the choir! Are you using the Yahoo webmail or are you using Outlook Express or another e-mail application? In control panel, Internet options, Programs, what is the default e-mail application? |

GLC what me preach to the choir, you must be thinking of some one else. I don't preach to any one, no one would listen any way.
I know you all hate any thing to do with Yahoo, or AT&T. Granted it is not the best, but I get along with it ok. There can be some things you don't like about anything, this goes for providers too. No I am still using Yahoo Mail. The thing that messed this up, thanks to my wife's idea, I changed my e-mail to Gmail so I could get the reply notices from your site. Decided I did not like Gmail and switched back to Yahoo mail, and this caused a problem. Too bad your site don't get along with Yahoo. Thanx .......Gunny |

I have no problem with AT&T or Yahoo, but they have a problem with us.
Are you using the Yahoo customized browser or a standard browser? What is your default e-mail application? If you installed all the Yahoo software that AT&T pushed on you, you may have caused this issue yourself trying to change the customized applications over to Gmail. |

GLC I know you don't like them then, maybe that is better put. Yahoo mail is my default mail provider. No matter how many places I check to make sure it is my default, it seems to work one time then some thing changes it.
Thanx...Gunny |

Hi GLC
Home come I can go into Control Panel and add and remove prog, Click on program access and defaults, and do custom, and check yahoo mail as my default it don't stay this way when I go back it is unchecked and use my current e-mail provider is checked. Even if it does this it still should have Yahoo mail as my e-mail prog. As I said I have removed all my Gmail stuff thinking this was interfering with having Yahoo as my default mail provider. All the rest of my mail works like normal, the reply and so on. It is just when I click on a link to go back to my Yahoo mail so I can reply to it. It just sits there, and puts a big long thing in my URL address box, but never goes any further. Thanx...Gunny |

Control Panel
Internet Options Programs That is where you set the default provider. Yahoo Mail is the customized browser. These issues are also why I generally recommend that people set up Outlook Express or another standard POP3 e-mail client for their e-mail instead of relying solely on webmail. |
