Windows Disappeared!!
Ok so I have been having trouble with my system for a while and was going to send my MoBo in this week when the most STRANGE thing happened.. I have been working with computers for yrs and never ran across this problem.. SO I start my system and a BsoD appears not like the usual all it said was Stop:c0000218 Unknown Hard Error... yea thats it.. So try restarting nothing after it detects my raid all that comes up is a cursor. So I tried over and over again clearing CMOS pulling out hardware you name it I tried it.. So I am like great Ill try to repair it, put the cd in ran everything loaded my raid drivers to find out that there is no more windows partition.. It just removed itself I have no idea how but its gone.. Has anyone ever fixed this let alone seen it b4?

Yea, sounds like the harddrive is bad.

You need to run manufacturer's diagnostics on your hard drives.
This is one reason why I won't use consumer-grade RAID. It's not reliable and stable enough. |
