not a win 32 application

I am trying to install a game, and I am getting an error messsage that the drive is not a win 32 application. I have numerous other games installed and never gotten this before. I am running windows XP. Just built the machine a year ago, and have more than enough of everything to run it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think I got around it. I created a folder on the hard drive, copied the files, hit the .exe file, and it installed... Will this create a problem anywhere, like Multiplayer game or anything.
