Arrgh

Apparently I accidentally checked the always perform this action box when burning a CD a while back. Now when I insert one, it always brings up Windows Media Player (which I normally do not use.) I want to change it back to giving me a choice or to use Roxio Easy CD instead. (Preferably giving me a choice.)

I have Windows XP. I tried the autoplay tab and saw no option for blank CD. I didn't see it on file associations either (although I understand that one.) I searched online and see no solution than what I already tried. Can (and will ) someone give me the answer? Thanks.

Do you see the spot "Prompt Me Each Time?"

Try this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

If it doesnt work you might have to go into registry diving..
Go to : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlers\
HandleCDBurningOnArrival and see what registry keys you've got listed.

Yeah for the things like playing. They are all on prompt me each time. There is nothing about when you insert a blank.
